Meeting of the Committee constituted for effective coordination to devise ways and means to curb offences of untouchability and atrocities against Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and effective implementation of Protection of the Civil Rights Act, 1955 and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989

The meeting was scheduled today in Hall no 2-3 , 1st Floor , Vigyan Bhawan , New Delhi. 

The meeting is presided by Dr. Virender Kumar ,Hon’ble Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment  , Shri Arjun Munda , Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Affairs , Shri A. Narayanaswamy and Shri Ramdas Athawale , Ministers of State  of Social Justice and empowerment ,Shri R. Subrahmanyam , Secretary  ( M/o Social Justice and Empowerment) , Shri Anil Kumar , Secretary ( M/o Tribal Affairs), Smt Alka Tiwari , Secretary ( NCST) and senior offices from MoSJE and Nodal officers .
